HRS Process Systems has specialised in the design, manufacture and installation of complete heat treatment systems for the Food Industry for aseptic filling, hot filling or any other form of filling.

The various elements that are incorporated into a system are carefully selected using our wide experience of food processing installations

The continual search for improved pieces of equipment offered in the market has spurred HRS Process Systems to develop new designs which substantially improve the operation of the installations and the final processed quality of the products. The new designs include the HRS PISTON PUMP developed specifically for particulate products, the Unicus® Dynamic Heat Exchangers, the Ecofux® Corrugated Tube heat exchangers, and the Aseptic Filler.

The most important features of the systems are listed below:

  • Piston Pump which will not damage the form, integrity and texture of the fruit pieces and will not break them but treat them in a delicate way.
  • A deareation system individually designed to handle specific products such as fruit or vegetable pieces, pulps or creams... which completely eliminate the air trapped within the product to prevent any oxidation, which could alter the organic or nutritional properties of the product.
  • Thermal treatment appropriate for the product. The correct selection of the best type heat exchanger for each case such as the Unicus® Dynamic Heat Exchanger or Ecoflux Corrugated Tube Heat Exchangers.
  • Natural Products. The high efficiency of the heat treatment sections do not allow the products to be heated neither any more nor less than is necessary. The organic properties of the product (taste, colour, smell, structure) and nutrititional properties (vitamins and minerals) are retained and are similar to those of recently picked fruit and vegetables.
  • Rigorous and reliable control of the whole process. Sophisticated but easy to use software is included in the installations to allow the user to control all of the operations of the system very precisely. By careful selection of the components and software design the control system can be adjusted to the particular requirements of each process parameter of the client and his systems.
